Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for Chatterbox paid plans and add-ons. Our pricing is simple: plans are monthly, priced in Indian Rupees (₹), capped so your bill never spikes, and you can cancel anytime with no lock-in.

1. Free plan

The Free plan costs nothing and requires no card to start. There is nothing to refund or cancel. You can stop using it or upgrade whenever you like.

2. Paid monthly plans

Starter and Pro are billed monthly and renew automatically until you cancel. Because every plan is capped, you won’t be charged beyond your plan price for that month. Each payment covers the upcoming billing cycle.

3. How to cancel

Cancellation is self-serve. Downgrade or cancel from your dashboard billing settings at any time. Cancellation stops the next renewal and takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle, so you keep access to your paid features until that cycle ends. There is no lock-in and no cancellation call required.

4. Refunds

Because plans are month-to-month, capped, and cancellable at any time, we generally do not provide refunds for partial or unused portions of a billing cycle. When you cancel, you are not billed again, and you keep access until the current cycle ends. If you were charged in error, or in other exceptional cases, contact us and we’ll review your request in good faith.

5. Add-ons & one-time charges

Some features are billed as one-time add-ons, for example additional crawl-page packs (₹500). Add-ons are non-refundable once they have been applied to your account or used, as they represent capacity or work already provided. If an add-on could not be delivered due to a fault on our side, contact us.

6. How to request a refund or raise an issue

Email [email protected] from the email on your account, with your account/business name and a short description of the issue. We aim to acknowledge requests within a few business days.

7. Chargebacks

If you have a billing concern, contact us first. We’ll almost always sort it out faster than a bank dispute. Filing a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of the account while the dispute is resolved.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time; we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above when we do.
