A customer may ask about price long after you have closed for the day. Chatterbox replies using pricing published on your website. If the answer is not there, it asks for contact details so you can follow up yourself.
A customer finds your business at ten at night, or on a Sunday afternoon, and wants to know what something costs. Nobody is at the desk to reply. The customer may move to the next search result instead of waiting for a callback the next morning. By the time you open the inbox, the inquiry may have gone cold or gone to a competitor.
Answer pricing questions while you are closed
Chatterbox can reply while you are away. The chat widget appears on your own website. You manage it through the Chatterbox site and dashboard at chatterbox.cbrspn.cloud. Its answers come from material your business has published or supplied, such as pricing pages, FAQs, service descriptions and documents. If your pricing page gives a rate, the visitor gets that rate. If your material does not give one, Chatterbox says it cannot find the answer instead of making up a plausible number.
A wrong answer about opening hours is inconvenient. A wrong price can sound like a promise. You may then have to honour it at a loss or explain to the customer why it was wrong. Either choice can damage trust. That is why Chatterbox admits when the answer is missing. For a pricing question, a clear "I don't know" is more useful than a confident guess.
Use the pricing you have already published
Good answers still depend on good source material. Chatterbox builds its knowledge by crawling your website and reading its pages, FAQs and documents. For one business, the crawl read more than 1,000 pages and produced over 5,400 question-and-answer pairs. Most were near-duplicates. The same pricing language appeared across dozens of location pages with small changes in wording. A large crawl does not automatically produce useful knowledge. Chatterbox has to reduce that repetition to the number that matters, rather than treat every page containing a price as a different answer.
Hand custom quotes back to a person
Some pricing questions need you. A customer may want a custom quote, a bundle of services or a discount for circumstances your FAQ never covered. Chatterbox recognizes when its source material does not answer the question and asks the visitor for contact details. You can then follow up with the price that fits their situation. The inquiry is captured while the customer is still on the site, and the bot does not stretch a standard published rate to cover a different job.
Keep each client's pricing separate
An agency can use the same setup across several client sites. Each client's pricing stays in that client's own knowledge base, separate from every other client's material. An answer from one business's rate card cannot appear in another business's conversation. Agency controls let one person manage the sites together while keeping their pricing answers apart.
Publish the answers customers need
You still need accurate, current pricing on your website or in the material you give Chatterbox. The bot can only answer from that material. Its job is to make those answers available when nobody is watching the inbox. A customer asking at midnight gets the same published number you would give during the day. If that number does not cover the question, Chatterbox collects the details you need to answer it yourself.
